Quest
By:Roger Liao

The story is as follows... You, (Master Knight or Master Wizard),
have been employed to recover the Treasure of Thrain for the Village of Thrain.
You have the skills necessary to overcome every obstacle in your way. Unless...
Nilrem, The Supreme Dark Wizard, intervenes and takes it away. Then, you would have to
recover it for the Village of Thrain or risk losing your title and life. If you do have
to confront Nilrem, since he has the title of Supreme, and your title is Master, than
you would probably be unable to defeat him and have to lose your life anyways. But, if
you find someone who would fight with you and also get Reviving Potions, you might just
defeat Nilrem... Or, you can try to unlock the secret move and defeat him.

Quest is a click adventure, meaning everything you do is done with the mouse. You can also
use the keyboard, but that's a bit harder. If you're a Wizard, you would have slightly more
power than the Knight in battles against Bosses, but you also have to manage your Magic
Power, keeping it up so you can employ spells. The program was made with Microsoft Visual
Basic 6.0. If you played Adventure, you would have more of an idea of how you got to
Master Knight or Master Wizard. Those of you who played the demo, you would notice many
things have changed. That's because I was developing Quest, and then I stopped and created
a demo from that. Then, I continued, added more things to the beginning, and continued.
It may have surprised you.

Difficulty level:There are two difficulty levels in Quest. Expert Level, and Game Level.
Game Level is the default, while Expert Level is selected specially. To select Expert Mode,
run Quest. When the program asks for your Name, type in "Expert" without the quotes. It must
be capitalized and the other letters in lower case or it won't work. The only difference is
that Expert Mode makes the Final Boss have 10 times as much HP then Game Level.

Sequel:The Final Journey
Yes, there might be a sequel to Quest, but that's only if I feel like it or there is a lot
of demand. Of course, The Final Journey would be a great improvement from Quest, like Quest
was a great improvement from Adventure. Adventure had only 6 challenges, and a boss, and
I could beat it in 4 seconds. Now, Quest is harder than Adventure, and more time-consuming.
Quest has over 24 challenges(or is it exactly) and 4-7 bosses in the game.
